We were very well looked after considering Cyclone Alfred had done some damage to the area. The room was amazing and was huge, all the facilities were of above standard presentation. Fan above the bed was perfect as I hate aircon while sleeping. Balcony had a great view and we were able to stay out there by closing all the shutters when a storm passed through. Pool was exceptional as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Ahh, where to even start! The apartment was clean, comfortable, cute, and extra spacious for one, which made it feel very luxurious. It was also really well-equipped, with everything in the kitchen that I could've wanted, and a separate laundry room (which I didn't use as I only stayed for two nights, but it looked very practical). Extra points for the really comfy recliner chairs/sofa in the living room and an excellent shower, and the balcony where I could watch the changing of the guard from hundreds of rainbow lorikeets to flying foxes around sunset. The beach was a minute away, just across the street, and there were several nice restaurants nearby to get food from. Also, the staff was extra friendly every time that I interacted with them, and getting keys when arriving after hours was simple. So, just in case it wasn't clear, I really loved it!

Akama Resort is a 4.5-star AAA rated resort with self-catering, spacious apartments that have a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry.
