Excellent and beautiful hotel, spacious rooms with a comfortable bed. We were given a free taxi from the train station - the train station is a 10-minute walk along a pleasant road. Quiet and cozy, good soundproofing. There is a balcony. The room has coffee capsules, tea and bottled water. The staff is very friendly. In the evenings, you can order dinner and a cocktail at the bar. Excellent spa and several saunas with a salt room and a relaxation room, with tea and coffee, dried fruits and juice. When it rains, it is very pleasant to warm up in the hot pool. We went to the sauna without bathing suits - we wrapped ourselves in a towel. A towel is on each floor in the spa area. We ordered an excellent massage - you need to book in advance because there are not always places. Delicious breakfasts with panoramic views of the beautiful city and mountains. In the mornings there is champagne, delicious coffee, scrambled eggs, croissants, different types of cheese and much more. The train station is a 10-minute walk along a pleasant road.

Also love the breakfast in this hotel. Had plenty of choices. Nice cozy hotel near the Aare Thun. Outside the hotel is quite picturesque. They have a designated parking area. But since we came in with a van we were allowed to park outside. Love the interior of our room. Love their amenities as well.

The room was nice; although not what I expected (like new age hotels). But the fact that it was right in the center of the old town (stone paved roads and classic restaurants), near a bridge on the river Aare, and the schloss; it offers great mix of old town vibes and near by you could find modern restaurants and supermarkets. Unfortunately the day I stayed here was raining; we wished to have visited this place during a sunny day. Right near the hotel is a city square (stone-paved) with a fountain in the middle; and a view (and stairs) of the schloss. The hotel itself is in a great condition, despite being an old but very beautiful building. The stairs, windows and the room itself will give you a good vibe.

Very nice staff, they allowed me to park my motorcycle in front of the house. Good communication, easy self check in, good breakfast options, coffee, juice and different types of bread, amongst others. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
