The hotel was in an excellent location five minutes walk from the railway station. We had problems with our baggage as Swiss Air did not load any luggage onto the plane. The staff at reception, in particular Mara and Emmanuel, were extremely helpful giving us information, etc to get a few clothes and toiletries. The room was a good size, clean and the beds comfortable. At breakfast there was a large selection of food, hot and cold, fruit and yoghurt.

The Hotel Eastside in Sankt Gallen is 3 km from the train station and offers free WiFi, and free private garage parking.

Styled modern furniture, comfortable bed, spacy room. Great value/price rate for this country. 15 min by car to the lake Bodensee with nice coffee. You could buy cherry or other fruits / vegetables on your way to the lake directly from the garden owners.

This modern 4-star superior hotel is located opposite the OLMA trade fair grounds, just a 10-minute walk from St. Gallen’s Old Town and the train station. A casino is located on site.

The simplicity of the rooms is stunning. They are super clean. I slept like a baby - as the beds were great. The food is super and the private parking great convenience. Top location. I will be back.
