Amazing hotel, one of the best I've ever stayed in. Room was large, well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Loved the rainfall shower and the hotel branded toiletries. Restaurant was fantastic, 7 course evening meal was worth it. Breakfast was tasty, although it can get busy on the weekend. Most important aspect of any hotel are the staff; everyone was extremely polite and very helpful. In front of the hotel there are brass cobbles with names of famous guests. It's fun to search through the variety of names; ranging from Peter the Great to Keira Knightley.

The space is very spacious, and the living room and kitchen provided all the necessary amenities. We had a very comfortable two-night stay. The location is also excellent, with a convenient parking lot right across the street (a maximum of 300kr per day, and free after 7 PM, which is a reasonable price). It's also within walking distance to the hot springs road.

Exceptional place, very friendly owners, they facilitated late check in without a problem, gave really good advises on what to see and visit, and let us keep the car parked a bit longer (great favor). To receive the key at the reception was smooth, the staff was very helpful. The parking at the property had a reasonable price, it was convenient. The apartment what we get was huge. It had also two complete bathrooms.
