The rooms, service and location deserve the high rating. Firstly, we arrived late and could not have dinner but the hotel staff kindly left four trays of cold food, salads and fruit and we started our holiday with a midnight snack. This was a family holiday (aunty and 3 teenage nieces) and we paid for half board and were very impressed with literally everything: The hotel - Tastefully decorated and clean. We discovered something new every day during our week long stay. Location was perfect as there was access to two beaches and promenades with many restaurants, shops and entertainment and a shopping mall should one wish to leave the hotel. We loved that the hotel was very private, quiet, and secure. Perhaps it was just because it was the beginning of the holidays. The hotel provided the best environment for relaxation. Free water and cookies were also available at reception and a really fantastic idea after a walk. The teenagers loved the cookies! The food - Breakfast and dinner was exceptional. A variety of different cuisine made it easy to appeal to everyone's particular taste. For dinner, there were over 4 restaurants to choose from and the food definitely was Michelin star standard. The choices were endless and they catered for everyone. Entertainment was good, with live performances every night. Apart from the restaurants, there is a snack bar and several lounges. The pool - There was sufficient sun beds all day long with excellent service provided by staff. We particularly liked the free fruits provided by the poolside staff which was a brilliant touch and a great way to cool down. Games, gym and the spa - We spent an afternoon in the spa and sauna. The staff were simply amazing and the experience was fantastic. We played pool and table tennis and it was popular with the young crowd and a great way to mix with other guests in the evenings. The gym offered all round equipment which we used once :). We loved the view of the beach.

Great place to stay for a holiday

Excellent staff. Location was ideal if you don't mind a 10 min walk up a hill. We found this very good exercise and well worth it. The area is great for restaurants and views.

The pool is heated, so even at the start of March you can have a relaxing swim. There is a large variety and tasty food at the included meals. You can find a store in the resort if you want to buy sweets, drinks, alcohol or food.

H10 Big Sur is in a great location. We were catching the ferry to La Gomera next morning. It was all so easy. We have used this hotel on 3 previous occasions now and it always delivers. The reception staff are competent and customer focussed. We were a bit late arriving and as the hotel restaurant was due to close within an hour were advised to go there straight away. Reception took care of our luggage. Our room 507 had great views over the beach and ferry port.

Suite on floor 7. Excellent facilities, spa bath and walk in shower , walk in closet with loads of storage ...Very nice grounds + all round comfort.

It is a really luxurious resort in a Mexican like style at the front of the ocean. We had a spacious suite with a really huge bed (>2m in width), jacuzzi, big terrace and ocean view. Also it was really nice to become a welcome present with champagne and dessert as we mentioned that we will be spending our honey week. As we had all inclusive all meals in the main restaurant and drinks on the territory of the hotel were included. The food was very delicious, varied and ingredients of high quality.
