Everything very clean, modern room and bathroom. The room skylight made the room nice and bright, and when the skylight shade was closed the room was nice and dark. Room had a mini fridge (with a small bottle of water) in the wardrobe. Spare blanket, jug, herbal teas provided. Towels, soap, shower gel and shampoo provided. I used the correos luggage transfer service which went well. Great location on the Camino del norte (about 3 blocks from tourist info centre and only a few hundred metres to rejoin the camino trail). Wifi and TV worked well. Hot shower with great water pressure. Room had a little desk and chair.

Superb location looking over the coast, a couple of miles inland and high up in the mountains. A peaceful haven of tranquillity with such pure alpine air. Tomas is a delightful host and directed us to some hidden gems along this beautiful stretch of coast. He also helped us to find an English speaking pharmacist, ringing round different pharmacies in the local town until he found one able to help. He really was prepared to go “the extra mile” for his guests. Excellent food and the best sea bass we have had in 40 years of travelling. Very friendly atmosphere amongst guests and staff. We all loved it and hope to return next year.

We had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in a beautiful location beside the river. At Casona Naviega a lot of thought and care has gone into ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with lovely décor and pretty surroundings beside the river. Antonio is a super host, always ensuring we were well taken care of and on hand with local knowledge to recommend places to visit in the area. The buffet breakfast was a real treat, offering a wide selection to choose from, both hot and cold dishes. Little extra touches like complimentary coffee and cakes laid out in the library in the afternoon added to our positive experience. On-site parking was really convenient too. Above all, for the quality and service provided, the value was outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Well done Antonio & Team – we will definitely return.
