This is the second time I stay there with friends and it’s been great both times. They always happy to accommodate requests for guests and all staff is very attentive and friendly.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The place is exactly as described and even better. The hotel is clean and spotless. The room is clean, modern, very quiet and overlooks the river. The location is excellent. Across the street there is a pharmacy and grocery store. The owner is nice and welcoming. Definitely a recommended place
