Dog friendly facilities were really good, with a downstairs room not far from reception, easy walks from the door, a doggy paw wash outside and plenty of space in the room for a proper dog bed (provided). Spa and gym very nice. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was very good and beautiful to sit in the restaurant and see the dawn across the lake. Room was quiet enough but not silent. Dogs can sit in the main reception/ bar area which was comfortable and a nice place for a snack and a coffee together with your dog. The old boathouse next door did a good value sunday lunch and they also had dog friendly tables available so that was great.

I had a delightful stay overnight at the Angel. The parking was not a problem, the room was excellent and the pub food was great.

The room as a bit small - but had everything we needed for our stay. The staff in throughout were absolutely wonderful. The food was incredible (breakfast and dinner).

It's a home away from home. Beautiful rooms, great food. Spa was wonderful and has a large indoor pool and outdoor pool which was heated. Incredible walks for our dog.
