Location is 5 star and a very short walk to the centre of the old town with the old town wall direction opposite the hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast had everything you would want. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definately choose to stay again.

Set in York, the recently renovated Ashbourne House provides accommodation 2.9 km from York Railway Station and 3.3 km from York Minster.

great location, beautifully decorated, welcoming and safe. the room was clean, comfortable, had all of the amenities you’d expect, including plenty of storage. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and they’d clearly thought of everything. No details were overlooked. Breakfast was fabulous as well. We’ll definitely return.

INCREDIBLE reception staff! So super friendly, keen to help in any way possible - they really go the extra mile and you can tell they really care about welcoming folk to York. Very comfortable room and facilities, with a pleasant view of a nice garden. Comfortable bedding. Good value for money. Super impressed - almost blown away. By far the clear accommodation highlight of our six-city holiday!

Standing next to York Minster, Guy Fawkes Inn was the birthplace of the notorious plotter, Guido Fawkes. The Inn offers en-suite rooms with free WiFi and flat-screen TV's.
