The front desk manager went over and above to find us a ground floor room as we were travelling with our dog. They even added a couple of bowls and a blanket for her! The next day he greeted her by her name, which was so lovely. The dog park at the back of the hotel is a brilliant idea. For humans, we had a large room, very comfortable beds, large marble-clad bathroom with a bath and all the amenities one would want, including a coffee maker and good Wifi. Breakfast was lavish. Definitely on our 'must stay here' list when next in Ioannina.

The location inside the castle walls made the experience unique, quiet, convenient, and culturally charming. You are greeted by a lovely courtyard with its own well, the rooms were exactly what we needed, and within a five-ten minute walk you could be among restaurants and cafes or shops, but within the castle walls all was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very helpful, and breakfast was lovely if you wanted to start your day that way. The beautiful Ioannana lake was also just a short walk away, as were very interesting museums. We would recommend staying here to anybody!

Excellent service. Kind, professional and provided everything we needed. The breakfast was huge and you're only 2 minutes from the castle. Parking right next to the hotel as well. It's a busy city but the hotel is tucked away in a quiet area.

We travelled with a whole family group so we booked two family rooms and one single. Everything was very clean, comfortable and new. I highly recommend the place for families with toddlers. Our kids really enjoyed the amazing outdoor playground and we enjoyed the food and drinks of the bar and cafe there. Prices are reasonable. Also the breakfast was very tasty with a lot of choices, even for vegetarians. The single room we have given at the arrival had a bad smell and the ac was not working. The staff changed the room immediately to the junior suite with any other charge.
