Solo traveler, middle of April 2023, 3 nights. I read many comments about the hosts of this place… I had the chance to talk to her only the first day, but just with her first words, you can notice that everything that was written here is true. She waited for me outside the restaurant and received me with a bottle of water and a schematic map of the monasteries. She did not only described me how to reach the monasteries, but also helped me with other things that I wanted to do in Meteora and the best way to get to Thessaloniki. The rooms (and views) are as shown in the pictures. They are clean and give a really cozy sensation when you are in them. I saw some comments that WiFi did not reach the rooms, but I stayed on the second floor and I had a prefect signal, good enough to stream Netflix without a problem. The location was also perfect. Not only is it a couple of blocks from the main street with all the bars and stores and at 3 of the bus station (no surprise here, Kalabaka is a small city) but also is at the feet of the Meteora rocks where the main hiking trails start. Communication outside working hours is either through the booking platform or by WhatsApp with a number that they provide upon arrival. I had no issues here also, the answers were always fast and clear. Overall, I would not only stay again here and recommended Mythos to my friends, but I would only come on the dates that there is a room available for me.
