The best smelling hotel I have ever stayed in! Sumptuous breakfast - selection of hot and cold, freshly made omelettes, strudel, cheese pies, pastries, fruit, cereals. Discounts on spa and dinner. Delicious seafood dinner options. Huge rooms, huge comfortable beds, high quality furnishings Very friendly and helpful breakfast staff Outdoor dining with sensational views over marina. Friendly welcome, really.helpful staff, great location. Lovely breakfast and effective air conditioning. Perfect base for exploring Novigrad. I'm sure that on Booking.com it said that it was only possible to check in up to a certain time. That might be true "off season" but in mid-June it was no problem that we arrived after 20:00.

Just 200 metres from the beach, the family-run Residence Villa Karda is a 5-minute walk away from the centre of Poreč.

The welcome from Marco was so kind and helpful. He was charming. In fact all the staff were exceptionally efficient and nice. Rahman the room attendant was delightful and cleaned and made our room beautifully. The Nepalese waiter helped beyond the call of duty when my grandson injured his ankle on the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms are fabulous with superb aircon. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in an hotel. The buffet offered a huge selection and cooked breakfast was readily available.

Having a couch and comfy chair to sit on gave us room to sit and read at night without being in bed. The room and the bathroom were very large and as described. Bed was comfy and we had an amazing sleep due to the individually controlled A/C which provided a perfect sleeping temperature. Breakfast was yummy with lots of variety both hot and cold and Magdalena made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. It's a perfect place to use as a base to discover the surrounding towns.
