We had a nice short one day stay in Hotel Canali. The hotel was really nice. Clean rooms and nice views from the balcony. We also got a free room upgrade. Next day we were planning a short ferry trip to porto fino and they let us leave the car at the property longer with no extra charge. Also gave us complimentary 2 bottles of water even though we wanted to pay. Really good service and all around great experience. Would recommend 10/10.

The staff were really friendly, they upgraded our room to one with a lovely view of the water. The breakfast buffet was delicious. It is a short walk from Portofino harbour.

the location is perfect for the train station, so great for travelling in Liguria and very convenient generally in the town.

Hotel staff very nice and responsive. Good location, easy to go and catch a ferry or bus to Portofino. Parking in the street around 30€ a day, which is normal for this area in Italy. They keep a place for their guests, and you can leave it there until some car goes. Train station only a couple of minutes away, which makes it good for a base to cinque terre as well.
