The room was excellent. The interior design and arrangements was very nice. We love that it's very clean and very big. We love that the hotel is located in the old town and close to all the tourist attractions. We also love the style of the hotel, a traditional room, but yet so comfortable and relaxing, also love the balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the city and the slow life of locals. Most of all, we really appreciate that the staff took care us so well from the check-in until we leave, espically Bird, Ning and Nong, just to name a few that we could remember.

What we particularly loved about our stay: The Victoria Xiengthong Palace is a truly charming and historic property — once the residence of the last royal family of Laos — and it beautifully preserves that sense of heritage and grace. The hotel is immaculate, tastefully maintained, and radiates timeless elegance in its authentic Lao-colonial style. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always eager to assist with genuine warmth and care. Service was flawless, including excellent transport arrangements to the airport, train station, and local excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay, felt wonderfully relaxed, and genuinely well looked after. A perfect haven in the heart of Luang Prabang.

We had an excellent 4 days stay at Villa Nagara in a double room with balcony overlooking the Nam Kahn river. We were not expecting such high quality at this price point! The colonial style hotel was recently refurbished and everything was in great condition. The room was very spacious and bright (corner room with 4 large windows). It had a cozy and traditional design with white walls, dark wooden floors and furniture, a poster-bed and colourful pillows and bedside lamps. It really had everything for a comfortable stay: comfy bed, sofa & coffee table, desk, wardrobe, ceiling fan & AC, fridge, kettle, TV, modern & large bathroom with toiletries & a range of wrapped amenities. Location is perfect as the hotel is in the historical district, within close walking distance of the main stretch and all the main attractions. It is very central yet quiet and peaceful. There is cleaning service everyday and Adam the manager was very helpful and always reachable. All in all one of the best value accommodation we had during our trip in Southeast Asia! Very highly recommended!
