Don't know where to start; simply magical experience from start to end. It was all the innovative, quirky little touches for me! From the luxurious breakfast with a champagne corner and unique options like ochazuke, to the many interesting caves you can explore and chill at, to the stuffed tigers placed around the resort to "scare" the monkeys away, to the many delicious offerings like whole pomelos to chocolates to the thoughtfulness of the staff... and so on and so on! We really didn't want to leave, and we truly rested SO WELL here. Oh, and when I made reservations at Jeff's Cellar (the on-site restaurant IN A CAVE) and let them know it was my friend's birthday, the staff not only celebrated it at the restaurant but decorated our room as well! The fine dining experience is not to be missed too, by the way. Though both the stay and the dinner were not cheap, they were truly worth every penny!

Super comfortable room, we had an amazing rest in this hotel. It's like 20 minutes walk from the train station so it's worth a Grab ride. The location is perfect as you have the city center on one direction and street food and restaurants on the opposite one. Felt safe and close to everything for a couple of days stay.
