The highlight of this hotel for me and my wife was its location. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city and a few minutes walk from everything you might need. The hotel is part of a large chain and the professional behavior of the staff confirms this fact. We had no problems with our arrival, stay and departure. Our room was warm, adequate and quiet. Officers obeyed the “Do not disturb” request at the door. It was a nice experience to find household appliances such as a refrigerator and kettle in the room, which was not possible at the Scandic Solli Oslo we visited later. The choice at breakfast was adequate but not spectacular.

Set on the same grounds as the Michael Monastery in the Nordnes area of Bergen, Klosterhagen Hotel offers free WiFi and rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Bergen Aquarium is a 10-minute walk away.

Really great breakfast, big variety, home made local specialties from smoked whale to homemade pickled cucumber to ginger shot of the day.... For 75 kronen you could pack yourself a lunch packet. Nice helpful staff.

This charming, family-owned hotel is set in two late 19th-century buildings by Bergen’s Nygårdsparken. The second building is across the street from the main building.

Excellent location. Fantastic breakfast. Very nice and clean room.

The room i was allocated had a view of the harbour - superb. It also had a terrace overlooking the harbour to watch the gorgeous sun setting The easiest and quickest check-in by the receptionist ever - brilliant
