Paintings everywhere (owner is an artist), adorable souvenirs shop(with carefully selected quality items) stylish breakfast room with nutritious and appetizing food with a variety of options to choose from. Cleanliness is uncompromising. But what really captivated us was the breathtaking view from our terrace - Castle of Batalha just in front. It did not have the style of some of the older hotels we stayed in but the hotel made the very most of what it did have. We ate jn the restaurant and enjoyed an excellent meal, as we also enjoyed breakfast. All the rooms gleamed, I have rarely stayed j such a spotless building..
