I really enjoyed my staying in the hotel - the entire staff was extremely helpful - starting from the reception (Nuno amazed me with his history knowledge) to the ladies helping during breakfast. Everybody without exception was very nice and friendly. Thank you :-) The room was spacious, well equipped , with plenty of amenities. Breakfast was super tasty. I truly enjoyed the decor and beautiful garden - staying there was a pleasure. Fully recommended.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the view is amazing (sea and sunset view), the breakfast has very good quality with fresh local products and a good variety. It is located just 20 min walking distance from the center of Funchal and close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The staff is super helpful and ready to solve all your problems. Definitely recommend Vila Baleira to anyone that wants to stay in Funchal.

It’s absolutely an unique experience to stay here. The name: the views is chosen well! (Love the logo-design by the way). You can see that the architect had his main focus on creating nice views on the city and sea. Thanks to the big windows in the room, but also the restaurant and spa and swimming pool. Everywhere in this hotel you will have a nice view. The spa is just perfect! Very relaxing, same for the breakfast. What a celebration :)
