Very comfortable with great facilities. The personnel were excellent in every area, and very friendly, relaxed, and communicative - but professional at the same time. The food (breakfast, dinner, and the odd room-service) was always very good, and plenty of choice - main dishes always changed from day-to-day. We even complimented the chef on one of them. The swimming-pool was a welcome addition to cool off on some of the hot days. Here again the service at the kiosk was excellent. We really enjoyed an evening of live music in the pool area. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The best thing was the view (we had windows to both the city and the river). Everything else was good as well.

Close to Coimbra (A) station in heart of lower old town. Bakeries and cafes and restaurants nearby. Nice large room and bedroom loft. Decent bed and bathroom. Everything works! Pick up door codes at nearby Hotel Oslo. Nice folks. Nice price. I’d do it again. Two night stay. Coimbra pretty cool.

Dear reader Even though I don't usually give reviews because they are usually subjective, I would like to give one now. I stayed at this beautiful hotel together with a work colleague in CW12 2024. We were given a very warm welcome, almost like a family, and you could see how everyone looked after the guests. The breakfast was excellent and you got everything you needed the homemade bread or the rolls were very tasty. The restaurant was also very good, for the first time in my life I ate goat, a speciality, I can only recommend trying it. All in all it was a great time on site and I highly recommend this hotel. The family-run Hotel do Parque is located in a restored 1922's building. It is just 250 metres from the Parque Termal Curia, and 500 metres from the Curia Golf Course.

I loved to experience this 100-year old hotel and to learn a lot of the hotel stories. From roller skates in the big dining room during the off-season to Spanish priests during civil war and British pilots in WW2. The hotel itself is a beautiful building where the owners have done an amazing job of providing nowadays comfort and amenities maintaining a lot of the old days decoration and way of living. An amazing walk in the past! Really glad the hotel has stayed with the same family all these years. I'm sure a big hotel chain could do expensive (and some needed) renovations. Still, I'd much rather have this very comfortable, welcoming and more authentic piece of history. Highly recommended! Ask the owners for some stories! Great breakfast and great price. Couldn't have asked for more.
