Great hotel in central Zilina. The old town and a big shopping mall were just across the street, the train station a five minute walk away, so ideal location. Staff was nice, room was large and clean. The historic building of the hotel is pretty stunning. Air conditioning did it’s job despite weather being very hot. Everything was also very clean. The room had opening windows, which was a plus, cause late at night, we could turn the AC off for a bit and let some (now cool) fresh mountain air in.

Palace Hotel Polom first opened its doors at the beginning of the 20th century and still provides world-class standard and historic charm right at the main train station in Zilina.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. From the beginning until the very end it was perfection all the way . It's a stunning little gem in the beautiful surroundings of Mala Fatra national park with breathtaking views .Hotel is very clean , nicely decorated, we loved pool and jacuzzi with view , we loved our spacious , tastefully decorated apartment with big balcony ( again with amazing views) For the small hotel such as the choice of breakfast was satisfying and tasty . And last but not least our big thank you to all the staff, everyone was very welcoming , polite and helpful. We will treasure beautiful memories and will be back next August .
