I just love the place, theres something magical about this hotel that makes me a returning customer, but this last time was a blast, I booked a king suite and I got the presidential suite, such an incredible room. The Menger bar is beautiful, the location couldnt be better. What can I say ... I love it

The property was very clean and had a lot of the old decor from the building still there, which was beautiful to see. The location was perfect, right across the road from the Alamo and not too far from the river walk (which is a must-see). The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast there was very enjoyable. Rooms were also very clean and decorated beautifully.

Room was surprisingly large, and came equipped with everything we needed! Bath items were great too. Location was right next to the alamo and very convenient. And as a bonus, heater / AC was powerful. Was able to both heat up and cool down our room to the extremes we wanted
