We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner was welcoming us at the gate and we parked inside the property. The room was very clean, amazing and spacy and had an unique shape with a view in the backyard (was more a botanical garden with little ponds and tropical plants. Gerda helped us with information about the KNP and routes we can travel. Breakfast (fruits, beacon eggs, cereals, etc.) was served on a terrasse with a view on the landscape. I stayed outside Kruger at Hazyview. I was so happy with my decision. Margrit prepares fabulous breakfasts or packed breakfast if you are off on safari ( which I did) this is perfect location for self drive to Kruger as it is only 10 minutiae's to the Phabeni Gate. I was so p,eased to stay outside the park so that I was able to explore the 3 Rondanelles and some beautiful scenery in the mountains nearby. There is also a great bush bar and some restaurants just 5 minutes away. The whole experience was positive despite my initial reservations of self driving. I flew Cape Town to Kruger ( Nespruit) and hired a car . The drive to Abangane Guest house is about 45 minutes from the airport. A small Renault with good clearance did the job.

The place is very clean. The host was friendly and amazing. The breakfast is so amazing they go extra mile preparing it. I will definitely visit again ☺️ 😊 🙂
