Rooms at Villa Vicuña Cafayate Boutique Hotel have cosy fur rugs, ornamental lamps and fine solid wood furniture. All are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV and heating. Free Wi-Fi is available. The decor of the place was sublime ! The room was furnished with dramatic antique pieces which really set the ambiance, yet it was elegant and spacious. The inner courtyard was beautiful and a joy to eat in. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff could make you eggs to order. The location was perfect, very close to the main town square yet quiet. Generally the staff was great and responded to our every request. Definitely would stay there again !

Centrally located in Salta, Hotel Boutique Balcón de la Plaza offers accommodation with free WiFi access. Breakfast is included.

Rooms at Hotel Boutique Balcón de la Plaza are equipped with air conditioning, a minibar and a flat-screen cable TV, as well as a private bathroom. Beautiful historical place. We had two different rooms for the 4 of us and one was super tight and the other was very comfortable. A bit pricier than other hotels in the area but nice colonial building if you want historical. Would recommend.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and comfortable rooms with air conditioning, Villa Vicuña offers a daily breakfast in Salta, 250 metres from the City Cathedral and historic circuit.

Villa Vicuña Salta Hotel Boutique rooms are fitted with cable TV and private bathrooms with free toiletries. Some rooms feature views of the garden and swimming pool. So far, the most beautifully curated hotel during our stay in Argentina. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to make use of the lush and luxurious back yard incl swimming pool. Staff was also super attentive and helpful. Extra bonus: 2 cuddly cats!

Providing a tranquil environment, the bright rooms in Villa Cardon feature private bathrooms and garden views. Incredible lovingly restored traditional house. Spacious room with authentic touches with comfortable beds, good shower and a fantastic breakfast with everything made at home from scratch. And we even had an avocado. Special thanks to Ariel for making us a delicious locro for dinner and gratitude to Augustin for hospitality friendliness, and for special breakfast. It was not a stay, it was an experience❤️

Set in a charming early 20th Century adobe and stone house, Sala de Payogasta offers Breakfast and there is restaurant. The town hall is 1 km away.

Decorated with gabled wooden ceilings and tiled floors, heated rooms at Sala de Payogasta are very airy. All of them have private bathrooms. At the suggestion of an Argentinian artist friend, we spent three full days here, which were some of the happiest days of our two-month trip to Argentina. La Sala da Payogasta is a rare find in the northern regions of Argentina. The owners prefer to take care of the building’s origins, and the former adobe finca has a central square with a covered walkway around. The whole complex breathes history. Elvira and Alejandro, the directors, not only gave us a very warm welcome and read our every wish from our lips, they also run an excellent restaurant with first-class wines on offer, and they provided a guide for trekking in the Nevado da Cachi region. The varied breakfast buffet in the large panoramic room offers local produce, the view is breathtaking. Waking up in the morning with a view of the Nevado da Cachi mountain massif is downright intoxicating (some of the spacious rooms, equipped with tiled floors, heating and private bathrooms, offer this unique view, simply ask for avaibility. Those expecting a metropolitan ambience, luxurious hotel furniture and marble floors may be disappointed - those who love character, first-class service and an enchanting atmosphere will not want to leave.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool with great panoramic views, Altalaluna is an upscale colonial-style mansion with a spa and free Wi-Fi access. Gourmet dishes can be enjoyed at the restaurant.

At the restaurant of Altalaluna Hotel Boutique & Spa guests can enjoy a chef-designed menu with regional specialties and carefully selected wines from the exclusive wine cellar and local vineyards. This is the best hotel we have been to in Argentina, the place is just wonderful and the employees are very nice! The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards, the hotel's architecture is stunning (it looks like a Spanish "masia" or a countryside house in Italy's Tuscany). When we arrived they gave us a room in the first floor and asked for a room in the floor above to have better views, they did all they could to change our room free of charge. They also offered a free wine-tasting, so we had the chance to try all of their wines with some cheese platters (white, red, rose, from the cheaper end to the very expensive end) with a professional sommelier. The hotel offers some activities (we did a horseback-riding excursion). In the evening the garden and the terrace are full of people enjoying some nice wine, the atmosphere is really magical. A lot of people ignore the area of Cafayate (and head to Mendoza instead), that is a big mistake, not only do I think that Cafayate wine is nicer but the area is beautiful. I strongly recommend staying here!
