Built in 1574 as a shipmaster’s house, Renaissancehotel Raffelsberger Hof B&B is a protected building in the historic village centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau. So lovely hotel, the architecture of the building itself is very interesting and extraordinary. The interior is beautiful and cozy. The room was not very big but for a solo traveller it was a perfect size with all the facilities. The breakfast was nicely served. The staff was very friendly and caring. Definitely value for money. And I would love to stay for longer and obviously I would stay in this splendid place.

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. It has its own charm with the decoration and paintings, we absolutely loved it! The breakfast is freshly made by the owner, Heidi. Located in the pedestrian zone in the Old Town of Melk,at the foot of Melk Abbey, the historic Rathauskeller features a restaurant serving traditional Austrian cuisine. We stayed in this hotel on a short cycling trip along the Danube. Their main business seems to be the restaurant, which by the way serves good dinner and ice-cream! The rooms are on the 2nd floor and despite the busy restaurant below, we slept well. And they obviously knew how to set up a good breakfast buffet!
