It is clean and comfortable. He is even constantly renovating the place and this is why it is perfect. The breakfast is one of the best we've had. Excellent quality of the products, rich choice and beautiful presentation. It was just delicious. I am planning to come back there in future to spend more time. Offering view to the Five fingers Viewing Platform, Haus Salzkammergut is located in Obertraun, 5 km from the centre of Hallstatt and 400 metres away from Lake Hallstatt and the beach. Free WiFi access is available and rooms come with a flat-screen smart TV. The property offers free parking. There could not have been a better place than this. The hosts are amazing people, breakfast is great, view from the room is so incredible that it was simply difficult to leave the room, location at perfect walking distance from the station, nice food places within walking distance, spotless clean, cozy, homely, spacious, perfect for couples or solo travellers if you want to get away from a busy city.

Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. I like the peacefulness. The location is a bit far from Markt, but it is close to the bus stop. The view was super! We booked the smallest room, and we got the one with a balcony, which is helpful for us as we were traveling with a child. I totally recommend this place.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. We had a great stay and found the Seewirt Zauner to be great value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful and overall the experience was that of home comforts rather than a commercial hotel. The location is also second to none.

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. Free WiFi is available. Very spacious studio, nicely decorated. We loved the private beach! The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was excellent . Great location, as it's just a short, pleasant stroll into town. On our way to Bavaria we were going to stop over in Salzburg but have absolutely no regrets going to Wolfgangsee instead!
