This was our third 10-day stay at "Das Essigmanngut". We were accommodated in a spacious suite room. The three beds were very comfortable. Shower/bathroom was clean and functional. The kitchenette functional and clean. The daily highlight once again was the marvellous breakfast. It features a very large selection of dishes, freshly prepared at high quality. Delicious coffee options. Very kind and helpful service staff at breakfast. Also the staff at the reception, including the manager/owner were very pleasant, flexible and most helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit to Salzburg and will most certainly stay here again.

Family-run since 1912, the non-smoking, adults-only Bergland Hotel offers a quiet location in the centre of Salzburg, only a 10-minute walk from Mirabell Palace, the Congress Centre, and the main train station, and a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. Free WiFi is available. The location of the hotel was very nice, it was a 15 minute walk to the city center! The room was nice and clean and the perfect size for two people. There was a leak at the shower but as soon as we told them about it, they already fixed it by the time we came back. Very efficient and friendly, would absolutely come here again!
