Mark is absolutely amazing, very hospitable and he gave us some really nice recommendations for places to visit. The room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was great. Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

This hotel is excellent, the location, the way it is set up, the vibe, the breakfast, the lake, the indoor pool, the employees and the owner, everything was exceptional, I highly recommend it

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony. The staff is friendly, the room is beautiful, clean with the balcony and mountain view. There are also a sauna and jacuzzi with 15euro you can stay for 2 hours. Recommend it.
