The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Lovely staff. We had a warm welcome in the early afternoon with a Schnitzel sandwich. Room was extremely spacious and had a lovely view on the mountains. Beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was great as well: eggs, yoghurt, quark and many different kinds of bread, fruit, meat and vegetables.

The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

This family-run,eco-hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen offers great views of the Bavarian Alps, a spacious spa with beauty salon, and free WiFi. It is located in the pedestrian zone, just 600 metres from the train station. The hotel is welcoming and nicely decorated. Our room was big, beautiful and with a beautiful view to the alps. We also used the sauna and we ate at restaurant and drank the bier they produce. I loved it all. It is near everything. You can walk to the best shops and restaurants.

Just a 2-minute walk from Oberammergau Train Station, this family-run hotel features a pretty garden terrace, a breakfast room and free on-site parking.
