The luxurious 4.5 star Homestead Stable and 4 star Pioneer Slab Hut rooms have private use of the bath terrace. All other rooms are 3.5 stars and have access to the shared swimming pool, BBQ and laundry facilities. Saltbush was a wonderful place to stay. The slab hut I stayed in had a lot of character and unique and was very comfortable. Location to town very convenient although guests I met or staff often offered a lift to/from town. Longreach has been a bucket list visit for some time and certainly did not disappoint.

Staff were best ever encountered anywhere. Couldn't do enough to help us out with visiting grandchildren. Advised us of local sites to visit. We stayed 4 nights. Absolutely fantastic. THE PLACE TO STAY!

Debbie's is a great spot for a couple's getaway prior to or returning from your K'gari adventures. We offer free parking and rooms with free WiFi and a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle. We have a spacious shared outdoor kitchen/dining area for those requiring cooking facilities. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Everything felt brand new and well thought out. We enjoyed making food on the gas cooker/bbq and sitting out on our private decking area in the evening. Our K’gairi tour had the option to pick us up from Debbie’s which was superb. There’s a shop, launderette and chip shop 1 min walk away. Great location. We loved our stay here. Highly recommend :)

The cafes, restaurants and shops of Hastings Street are on the doorstep. Location was 10/10. Right on Hastings Street with beach access and also 2 pools. Will definitely be back.
