Cradle Mountain Village is located in a secluded setting on the edge of the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. It is just a 5-minute walk to the Visitor Centre and 10 minutes’ drive to the start of the Overland Track. The room is big and surrounding by the forest. You can see many trees. It’s very beautiful. And the location is good, just few minutes from tourists center. The room has kitchen facilities, you could cook a dinner and breakfast. In addition, you can take a hot bath after mountain hiking. It’s very relaxing.

The staff behind reception were exceptional. Even escorted us to our room on the top floor. Spotless rooms, huge comfy bed and lots of little extras. We had a few things from the mini bar, it was very reasonable. We also love The Long Bar! This is my favourite hotel.

It is located between Salamanca and Battery Point, giving you easy access to all the main tourist spots, but also local cafes and shops. It is a historic building that has been done up beautifully. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable with comfortable bed and a great shower. A real benefit for us were the guest laundry facilities that allowed us to wash clothes between between hiking/kayaking adventures. The hotel was brilliant at ensuring our bags (which we left in storage as we went hiking/kayaking) were put in our rooms, ready for our return. Overall, a brilliant hotel.

Easy check in and great communication from host. Lovely place, super location and clean. Heater worked well as everything else. Loved the family chalets with two bedroom for our group of 12 we fitted easily into three of them.
