Great food at the restaurant at a very reasonable price (considering it is Switzerland) and the staff shows such warmth and hospitality that it makes it a great stay. The wonderful view of Eiger and Monch from the balcony. Lift for those with suitcases and accessibility in general. Lovely clean room and bathroom with a bathtub :)

I LOVE THE VIEW FROM THE BALCONY OF THIS ROOM, THIS HOTEL TOTALLY BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS! Staffs are very helpful and make you comfortable during your stay. I love everything about this hotel, it's located near Lake Brienz with remarkable view from the hotel room, you need to take bus from Interlaken Ost Station, and it's just 2-min away from the bus stop. Breakfast taste really good and have various menu. Definitely will come back when I visit Interlaken!

Built in 1881, the family-run Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, and offers you completely renovated rooms in a traditional Alpine style and free WiFi. I liked every detail. The hair dryer also has a diffuser for curly haired guests which is excellent. the room was extremely clean, the hotel’s view is amazing, the hotel staff is very kind and helpful, breakfast is perfect. i will definetly come back!
