Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. The property is 650m away from Piazza Grande and 450m from Locarno harbor. The gentleman working the check in, breakfast and everything else (I apologize but I can't remember his name) was FABULOUS and so helpful and kind! Give that man a raise!!!

All rooms are non-smoking, air-conditioned and have been completely renovated in 2023. Most of them offer views of Lake Maggiore or the Piazza Grande. Excellent location. Fair price for the room booked. Loved our balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. Comfortable bed and adequate bathroom facilities.
