The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. It offers a park with a pool, free WiFi and a limited number of free parking spaces. Very kind and helpful staff, they can communicate on "every" language. The hotel is located really close to the center and to the public traffic; train station/bus station. The buildings and the garden are really nice. The view is awesome. Within the facilities erything is clean and well maintained. The kitchen and lunch-room are well equiped and clean. They have fridge, oven, stove, microwave, kettle, kitchenette, etc. for shared use. The free parking lodge is a great advantage. For this price with this location, it was a great choice.

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre.

Plunge into the wonderful swimming pool amidst a large park after a day of doing sightseeing or business in Lugano. Staff is incredibly kind and patient. Location is excellent right near the train station but on an absolutely lovely property. Restaurant is also excellent.

Built in 1914 and located 850 meters above sea level, Kurhaus Cademario- Adults Only has massage, relaxation and steam rooms. It features indoor and outdoor heated pools, water features, a park and 2 conference rooms. Perfect location for a relaxation getaway surrounded by mountains and Forest. The SPA facilities are out of this world especially the pools and jacuzzis indoor which leads to outdoors overlooking the lake and Mountains. Simply fantastic after a morning trekking in either of the nearby forests we use to indulge and relax at the SPA. Very good variation in breakfast at their restaurant again with fanstastic views of the underneath town of Cademario and the Ticino Lake and surrounding Mountains. There is Free Parking with plenty of parking spaces and all the Staff are super friendly. We would definitely come again.

Free WiFi is available in all areas, and underground parking is available for small/medium cars on site for an extra charge. Comfortable beds, room service with impeccable cleaning. Superb breakfast Hotel staff very courteous and helpful. Automatic shoe cleaner in the 1st floor, helping a lot to give that finishing touch before I went to a symposium. This way, I could do all my activitives knowing without need to worry anything regarding the hotel.
