The bathrooms were clean and there were several available.

The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. In the summer months guest enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neightbouring hotel Beau Rivage. Everything especially the location in Lucern lake.

The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake Lucerne, the Chapel Bridge, and the closest bus stop. Free WiFi is available. It was newly opened in December 2022 and is a fully automated boutique hotel with flexible room access with mobile key. We were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade for our stay as they had over booked their standard rooms. The location was ideal right in the heart of the old town and only a 10 min walk to the train station. The facilities, comfort and cleanliness were top marks with washing machines available in the downstairs common area and a kitchenette with sink, hob and dishwasher in our room. Only wish we had booked a longer stay.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Free WiFi access is available. The price is a little high for us, but the view is unbeatable, especially when we have a little one with us so we couldn’t climb the city wall to enjoy the view. Bus ride from the train station is fast and free, the tram provides easy access to the hotel, a few stairs is unavoidable. Staff is friendly and helpful, the room is nicely maintained.

Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 1 restaurant offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. WiFi and on-site private parking are available free of charge. Very clean, nice rooms and super friendly and helpful staff.

The Hotel Muenzgasse Luzern is located in the Old Town, 600 metres from the the Lucerne Train Station and Lake Lucerne and features city and river view rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Each of the modern rooms has a cable TV. The hotel room was gorgeous! Very spacious, beautifully decorated and sparkling clean.

The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne.

Surrounded by a wonderful mountain panorama, the hotel features 25 rooms with balcony, 3 à-la-carte restaurants and 2 lakeside terraces with palm trees. Everything was perfect. Excellent staff clean hotel with good restaurant.
