There is a gracious hospitality offered by the owner, with beautifully presented table service at breakfast. We loved our stay at this hotel.

The centre of Lugano is a 10-minute walk away. お部屋のアップグレードをしてもらえました。４階までエレベーターで最上階５階は階段を上がり建物の真ん中に位置するジュニアスィートルームでした。その階の他の部屋はどこも現在使用していないようで廊下は明かりがなく暗くて４階の廊下と比較すると全く違い陰気な感じでした。お部屋のテラスからの湖の眺めは最高でした。お部屋も広くて良いのですがお部屋に蜘蛛が数匹いたのが困りまた無料のお水はありませんでした。お部屋のアメニティーは以前に誰かが使用したようなものでした。

Beautifully appointed hotel, right on the promenade. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we are is Ascona.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Very clean,civilised people and staff.Great location,next to the bus and train station
