The rooms at Engel Hotel feature white, empty walls, pine wood floors and straight lines. The monochrome bed headboards have built-in mirrors and halogen lighting. Loved that there was space for two suitcases in the room. Great breakfast and lovely staff

The Bed + Breakfast is surrounded by a tranquil garden, which is great for relaxing after a day of doing business or sightseeing. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. The nicest we have met in Europe so far. The hotel is very charming, and beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The room was large. Free Bus pass with the room, as well as access to Lucerne WiFi. The bathrooms were clean and there were several available.

In the summer months guest enjoy free access to the heated outdoor pool of the neightbouring hotel Beau Rivage. Exquisite piece of property! 11 out of 10 overall score, if possible. Spacious rooms, extremely clean, smiling staff. Great choice for Lucerne.

Boutique-Hotel Schlüssel is 10 km away from Lucerne and close to 13 different ski areas. Quirky room, upgraded with a big bath in the center of the room, making for a nice evening even if we arrived late. Port or sherry bottle given complimentary as well. Nice lake views at breakfast.

The Lubo - self check-in is located in the center of the city of Lucerne in the historic old town and only a 10-minute walk from Lucerne main station and just 200 metres from the shores of Lake Lucerne, the Chapel Bridge, and the closest bus stop. Free WiFi is available. It was newly opened in December 2022 and is a fully automated boutique hotel with flexible room access with mobile key. We were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade for our stay as they had over booked their standard rooms. The location was ideal right in the heart of the old town and only a 10 min walk to the train station. The facilities, comfort and cleanliness were top marks with washing machines available in the downstairs common area and a kitchenette with sink, hob and dishwasher in our room. Only wish we had booked a longer stay.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Free WiFi access is available. The price is a little high for us, but the view is unbeatable, especially when we have a little one with us so we couldn’t climb the city wall to enjoy the view. Bus ride from the train station is fast and free, the tram provides easy access to the hotel, a few stairs is unavoidable. Staff is friendly and helpful, the room is nicely maintained.

Right on the shore of Lake Lucerne, Hotel Seerausch in Beckenried offers panoramic lake and mountain views, a lakeside bar, and free WiFi. The restaurant serves Swiss and international cuisine and a selection of fine wines and beers. We have stayed here a few times while travelling between uk and Türkiye. Ideal stop, very comfortable with beautiful views over mountains and the lake. Breakfast is excellent, love that our dogs are made very welcome and can sit with us at breakfast time. Staff are great. We absolutely love it here.
