Hotel Makanda by the Sea, a luxurious adults-only retreat nestled in the lush tropical paradise of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Our hotel offers the perfect blend of serenity and sophistication, designed exclusively for adults seeking a tranquil escape. We enjoyed everything! Staff was great, kind and really helpful. The room, the hotel itself was gorgeous. We saw more animals in the hotel’s surrounding than in Manuel Antonio. Pool area chic and relaxing.

The rooms are new and sparkling clean, it's in a great location - very quiet with loads of birds and iguanas - and the staff are all very friendly. Good breakfast too. Las Brisas was above and beyond what we were expecting for the price!

Especial mention to Francisco who took care of us making our stay more enjoyable. Also to chef Jose who made us try his new menu and it is delicious.

It's in the best location....down the quiet end of the beach and very beautiful. It's clean, simple, spacious rooms are very comfortable and had everything I need. The staff are wonderful - helpful & friendly - and the beach restaurant is great, lovely food, good music with an incredible view. If you don't fancy getting sandy, there's a pool too with lots of beds. Great little hotel, in short. I'm staying again next week! ☺️🌊🌴🌺
