Hotel Makanda by the Sea, a luxurious adults-only retreat nestled in the lush tropical paradise of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Perfect! By far the best hotel we stayed at in Costa Rica. There are wild animals (sloths, monkeys, toucan,..) on the hotel property and we loved it! Spacious rooms and nice staff. The private beach that you can reach by golf cart is a big plus

Very close to Jaco, great value, quality property. Hands on ownership and engaged staff made this a great experience.

The location is good and right on the beach and close to some good bars and restaurants. The lady at the reception was very nice and moved us to a room on the 2nd floor when we were not happy with ours. Great Service!
