The Hotel Beyfin is a beautiful hotel right on the main square of Cluj Napoca. My room had a fine view of the cathedral. Notwithstanding the location, the hotel was quiet. I was pleased and surprised by the quality of the furnishings in the room. Although the hotel did not have a restaurant, there were several excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The breakfast was excellent.

Casa Albert is located on Brasov's famous pedestrian area of Republicii Street, only 100 metres from the Black Church. All rooms feature historic-style furniture and free WiFi. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They arranged a birthday cake for my partner which was absolutely delicious. The room was massive (we were given a free upgrade to a suite) with interesting views (people watching)over the main street. Perfect location for restaurants and main shopping square.
