All rooms in Canyelles Platja have flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioning and a private balcony. The situation is perfect - 15m from the beach. Room was very clean, with everything one could need. comfortable bed, good lighting, fridge which really was cold! Parking was very convenient - made the stay very easy. Staff were very friendly, helpful and the woman on the reception when I arrived couldn't have been more helpful - sorting storage for bike and parking for car etc. Restaurant staff were also very friendly.

There is also a shared lounge at the property. Great location, everything very clean and in great conditions. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was about €9 p/p. You get a discount at the Saba parking nearby, we payed about €18 per day.

In 13 minutes you can walk to Portlligat, home to Dalí's summer house, which has now been converted into a fantastic museum. Cap de Creus Natural Park is just a 15-minute drive away and it appears in many of Dalí's paintings. Figueres is 45 minutes' drive away, and you can drive to the French border in an hour. Was very well located and very quirky. Breakfast was delicious
