El Lagar de Isilla is an exclusive hotel, set in the winery of the same name. Aimed especially at wine lovers, it features wine-making themed décor like barrel tables. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Our eighth visit to this hotel on our way down and back from Southern Spain. On our return journey this year we had a wonderful room with a free standing bath. Every room here is a delight and a surprise. Comfortable lounge area and a cosy bar. Breakfast is great too.

Hotel Forum Evolución is a modern hotel located 100 metres from the Human Evolution Museum and Conference Centre. It has a wine-themed décor and related cosmetic products are available to purchase.

Air-conditioned rooms are soundproofed and have a desk, a TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries. Room was very comfortable, very good bedside lighting, spacious bathroom, breakfast is inexpensive but expansive, no cooked foods except for toast but lots of choices of other foods and juices. Definitely worth it. We are able to unload our luggage at the designated parking right in front of the building, parking is 2 minutes away under the museum, spacious spaces! You access with a card from the hotel that scans as you enter the underground parking. It is a small personal hotel with an independent cafe accessible from the foyer for a snack, coffee, glass or wine!

La Hacienda de mi Señor is located in Lerma, just off the A-1 Motorway and 20 minutes’ drive from Burgos. It has a charming lounge housed in the former wine cellar.

Burgos Bus Station is just 200 metres from the hotel, and it is 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel to the Human Evolution Museum. Great location Kind staff Cozy room Todo era perfecto!

Rooms at the AC Hotel Burgos feature modern décor. Each one comes with plasma TV, a music system and minibar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The location was perfect, minutes from the cathedral and excellent restaurants. The view from our room was lovely, the room spacious, and the service excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

Suites at Hotel Palacio de los Blasones have functional modern décor and wooden floors. Many have a balcony, and all include a minibar and a separate lounge with satellite TV. The stylish bathrooms come with a hairdryer. Friendly front desk staff spoke good English. Room was huge (king size bed in main room and separate living room with sofas) and comfortable. Location is very central. Nice to soak in a full size bathtub. Wish I had some Epsom salt. All this at a reasonable Sunday rate.
