Oban's busy town centre is just 15 minutes' walk away. There are a lot of very thoughtful details that make it so special. Like the binoculars on the window ledge, or the decanter with sherry, and tunnocks tea cakes. The room is beautiful and huge, and the view is stunning. We loved sitting in the armchairs and looking out over the bay. We totally recommend staying here if you have the chance. It's a short walk round the bay, which is also very scenic.

Outstanding hotel in a completely raw and natural area of Scotland. Staff were welcoming and extremely pleasant. The food selection covered many options and everything was delicious. I will definitely be back.

With a 4-star rating from Visit Scotland, the pretty Struan House B&B is found on Tarbert’s peaceful harbour-side. With beautiful views across the water to the hills beyond, Struan House provides free WiFi. I have absolutely enjoyed my stay at Struan House. Mark and Aby were the best hosts you can image and much fun to talk to. My breakfast went then far over an hour but was worth it and beside the lovely conversation was it also very, very tasty. Highly recommended to everyone aiming to visit Tarbert

Aspen Lodge in Oban provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a bar. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Carol was a fabulous host, friendly, helpful and a great cook as the breakfast was wonderful with many choices. The view from our room was breathtaking. The area is quiet and peaceful with Oban just a few minutes away for restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend Aspen Lodge.
