We had to stay another night due to our ferry being cancelled. Yolanda was able to support us with another night's stay. I'm so glad they could because ì didn't want to stay somewhere, which may not have been as comfortable as we felt here

The seafront Ellan Vannin Hotel overlooks Douglas Bay and Douglas Beach. The hotel is 1 minutes’ walk from the beach and within 5 minutes’ walk of the ferry terminal and bus station. The main shops, cafes and restaurants are 2 minutes’ walk away. Excellent staff especially the guy who seems to do everything nothing was a problem to him 10 out of 10 to the guy, bed super comfy great shower 🚿 2nd time I've stayed here and will definitely stay again..

With panoramic views across Douglas Bay and a carvery restaurant, it is just 5 minutes’ drive from the ferry terminal and a short seafront stroll from the town centre. The hotel was perfect for my stay, could not fault anything.

The bedroom was stunning, Ensuite with double sided bath, walk in shower, big enough for 2 people and worked perfectly. Sky T.V with a huge telly, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, perfect for a couple wanting a comfortable luxury room. Breakfast was delicious.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so pleasant and helpful, always seemed to have smiles on their faces which made our stay such a lovely experience. The room was gorgeous and modern, perfectly clean with luxury furnishings, really comfy bed and the food at breakfast was amazing. We can’t wait to return.

The location is brilliant, it's roughly midway between Lord Street with its main bus terminal, and the Electric Railway. The views out to the sea are lovely from the breakfast room, and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is amazing, really good quality food and fresh. The on-site bar is gorgeous, and the attached restaurant is worth a visit for its amazing Japanese/Thai food. The building itself is beautiful, and though they did have scaffolding up it didn't impact our stay at all.

Stunning setting with gorgeous views. Really peaceful place. Just beautiful. Lovely room with everything we needed. Nice to have an outdoor terrace with seats to enjoy the views. Fantastic hosts. Mick was so friendly and relaxed. Had a good laugh with him and he was happy to help with any queries and local info. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. We needed to get up very early one morning and Mick sorted out some breakfast options for us and left them in our room ready for the morning.

Fantastic location with a beautiful view - nice view from the breakfast restaurant. Lovely breakfast thank you. I loved the design, layout and furnishings of the lobby and restaurant areas. I had a huge room with great furnishings and an enormous bathroom. My interview overran and your reception staff were very kind and accommodating allowing me to check out at 12pm.
