We loved absolutely everything about our stay. The room turned out to be even better than in the pictures. The location is ideal, right on the Royal Mile. Easy to get anywhere. The room was clean, beds were very comfy, all the necessities were provided. Great breakfast starting from 7 am. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

The hotel is housed in a listed 18th century Georgian townhouse which means we do not have a lift. We recommend guests who struggle with stairs consider a hotel with lift access. A little outside of the main city area but super easy to get to. Very close to public transportation. The receptionist was great. Cute and cozy. Bed was super comfy.

The modern apartments have been converted from a whisky-bond building and come fully equipped with a kitchen, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The location was great. And the apartment was very nice overall, no problem fitting 4 people in 2 big bedrooms, one large living room and a bathroom.

The Hotel Ceilidh-Donia is in a quiet residential area, just off Dalkeith Road, a major route into Edinburgh. Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station, Edinburgh Castle and the shops of Princes Street are within a 15-minute bus ride. The hotel's standout feature was undoubtedly its delicious home-cooked breakfast. With a choice of 8 or 9 options, there was something to suit every palate, and the food quality was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the Scottish breakfast, which was a real treat!
