The property features garden views and is 28 km from Southampton Guildhall and 29 km from Southampton Cruise Terminal. Sandbanks is 31 km from the bed and breakfast and Poole Harbour is 32 km away. This is a little gem and if you are visiting the Sway area it's a definite must visit. Our welcome was really warm and inviting from the hosts John and Stephanie. Our room (the annex) exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was so delicious I think I would return for that alone. I enjoyed my vegetarian breakfast which you seldom see on offer. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

Parts of the building date back to 1650 and still feature beautiful period features, such as original wooden beams, handmade bricks and ship timbers. The lodge’s rich history means it has a wealth of character and original charm. Cottage Lodge was very comfortable and had excellent facilities. The breakfasts were excellent and the selections of breakfast meals were all enjoyable. The hotel was perfect for us as we could walk to the bike rental near the train station to pick up our bikes. As we did two days of biking, it worked out well. Having a designated car parking spot was nice as we always had a spot to park. From the hotel you can walk to the restaurants and pubs, no need to drive.

This is an absolute gem of a place! Delicious food, cosy ambiance, beautiful environment and rooms. Sway train station is just a 4-minute walk away. Very cute hotel. Breakfast was quite nice. Comfortable room with very clean facilities. Staff were all very kind.

Our second restaurant The Lodge Kitchen and Bar with pizza oven, is a beautifully decorated "stretched tent" which opens onto our delightful outdoor Terrace. Excellent facilities, room and the staff were lovely. Even stopped for dinner every night of the trip!
