Formerly a 500-year-old inn, this Derbyshire hotel in the heart of the Peak District offers rooms featuring contemporary décor, with a seating area and TV, and en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The building and the rooms are gorgeous, located perfectly on the Main Street with a bus stop right outside and a close walk to the train station. The food was amazing, highly recommend eating there, and the staff were very accommodating. The lady who checked us in and was also our server, Maya, was incredibly friendly and helpful, thank you! We would love to return to The George

We booked expecting a simple stay and instead experience some of the most caring and well trained in our tour of London, Peak, Cotswold, and Cornwall. They were personable and knowledgeable. The food in the restaurant was very well prepared and they managed special requests without attitude or hesitation. We would recommend and stay again. The room was comfortable, clean and well presented. The reception was on point. It seemed to be popular with locals and we understand why.

I've always wanted to stop on a boat and decided to book this for my Husband's birthday. It is ideally located in Sheffield city centre. It's a short walk from the train station and the main shopping area. The owner sent very clear instructions on how to get here .The boat was very clean and comfortable. The heaters were on when we arrived so it was lovely and cozy and there are blankets to get snuggled on the sofa. The bed was really comfortable. We got woken up by the ducks the next morning. It was just a lovely place to stay
