Nestled in the Chiltern Hills, just north of the River Thames as it winds through Buckinghamshire, The Stag and Huntsman is situated in the picturesque village of Hambleden. Situated in most beautiful, small countryside village but in striking distance to wonderful places like Henley & Marlow or the larger towns of Windsor & Oxford. The pub downstairs could not be more authentic and British, the staff were lovely and the food was excellent.

This historic former brewery boasts light and elegant rooms with rustic, original features and fine Egyptian linen. Centrally located, clean, dinner was delightful and delicious. Bed was very comfortable.

The location was ideal located for car travel close to M40 and M25. The swimming pool was very nice the pool water was just the right temperature for swimming with plenty of towels. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The food choice for dinner was good, and breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice of items. All the staff were attentive and very polite.

What a fabulous hotel to stay in! Staff absolutely brilliant and cannot be more helpful and friendly. Room was perfect in every way. You have to stay here!

A 10-minute walk from the centre of Great Missenden is the Nag’s Head Hotel, a 4-star 15th century inn. Guests can enjoy contemporary styled interiors, Anglo-French fusion cuisine and free Wi-Fi. Loved this place - being so old it has some quirks like sloping floors and low doorways (which added to the charm). Our beautiful room was above the dining room and at first we thought the noise might be a problem, however we probably had the best sleep of our entire holiday. Outstanding food and atmosphere, and absolutely amazing staff. Nothing was too much trouble and every single staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and genuine. We stayed 3 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer.

Set in a beautifully restored 17th century inn, this guest accommodation is at the foot of the Chiltern Hills and offers spacious and stylish rooms. Great vegan breakfast with hash browns, avocado, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and sour dough toast. Our family room was lovely and it was split-level so we all felt we had our own space. The staff were all great. We had dinner one night too and there was a whole vegan menu. Would most definitely stay again.

The Olde Bell, BW Signature Collection is a modernised 3-star coaching inn providing Ilse Crawford designed restful rooms with a rustic elegance. What a great hotel - good location, excellent staff, lovely restaurant with yummy food. The bed was extra comfy and the room, very spacious.
