Aphrodite beach hotel has a special position hidden bay, so in case of windy weather it is quiet. This is ideal when the wind is too strong or with small childeren. The wawes are smal and no wind. But, if you like wavy sea, you can go 300 meter further on the beach to Kissamos center direction, you get to a beach with bigger wawes. aphrodite has an interesting position of the swimming pool. No strong sun, no strong wind. Ideal for evenings when tired by see. Also great for childeren. Theere is a restaurant in front of hotel which is quiet, but zou see some touch with the atmosphere if zou have a see view room. The Kisamos area is interesting part of Crete. The port to Balos is abou 3km from Aphrodite. Falassarna is10 minutes by car. Elafonisi about 1 hour by car distance. The hotel personnels were very pleasent and kind. The hotel was perfectly clean.

The breakfast was outstanding with numerous choices, depending on one's preference. Effie, at the front desk, was particularly professional, friendly, and helpful. We appreciate all the guidance she gave us during our time in Crete.

I had trouble figuring out where to park my car and the staff was so patient and kind with my confused phone calls. My room was upgraded to a lovely suite and I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and the morning breakfast.

This central Chania hotel is just 200 metres from the Old Town walls and the Venetian harbour. It offers Cretan hospitality, modern furniture and facilities, air-conditioned and soundproof rooms and a limited capacity underground parking. The hotel was fully refurbished in 2021. Excellent value for money. Great location, great facilities, really good breakfast and perfect staff. Will definitely come back.

Special thanks to the owner Stella who responded immediately to our request for earlier check in because of the early flight and tight schedule as well as taking care of providing us even beach towels ☺️ We have already stayed there once early July and now again late August and would come back in future for sure!
