On arrival we were welcomed by Nicholas who was extremely friendly and helpful. A great start to our stay. We were on the first floor and the room was a good size, the bed comfy, good wardrobe space, good air con, nice to have windows to open and let the sun in (even through the massive heat wave). The bathroom itself was small but did the job for our 5 night stay. The shower was a bit of a let down - very tight squeeze to get in and shut the doors (and we are average build). If we moved without thinking about this small space, we accidentally nudged the tap off or to the hot or cold side. Had to be super careful in that respect. The free breakfast was out of this world amazing, tasty, different every day, home cooked/made, abundant (got us through to the afternoon!). We looked forward to it every morning and ate 90 to 100% of it. Jenni was an amazing hostess who presented us with this breakfast daily and she tolerated my “5 to 6 cup coffee” husband with delightful dry humour! She always had a funny comment to make. Loved her! One of the house maids was super friendly and greeted us every time we saw her - sorry I didn’t get her name! Unlucky for us it was a heat wave the whole 5 days there so going back and forth from the city centre was quite the trek for this unfit oldish woman, but I achieved it 4 or 5 times a day, albeit puffed on arrival. On a cooler day it would be very pleasant. A thousand thank you’s Jenni, Nicholas and friendly housemaid - you made our stay in Hydra magical. We highly recommend your place and wish you many years of success in your chosen business. You are a credit to the island! Liz and Mark from New Zealand.

Lovely breakfast was a bonus. Nice location right on the waterfront. 10 minute walk to main commercial centre. Visited during off season. Some things closed but did not spoil the visit.

Featuring free WiFi and a sun terrace, Mastoris Mansion offers accommodation in Hydra. Every air-conditioned room overlooks the alley and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Everything! Perfect location, stunningly cute with wonderful little features, amazingly helpful owner (Christos) and an inspiring approach to guest service, such as allowing me to store my suitcase after checkout, before my ferry and making a shower available for guests to freshen up from one final swim before their ferry. Brilliant!

Orloff Boutique Hotel, one of the historic Hydra mansions of the 18th century, is lovingly restored to an elegant, luxurious 4 star boutique hotel. Loved every second of my stay here. Such a dream. So relaxing. Beautiful people. The owner and staff were so lovely. Rooms are beautiful. It was perfect.
