Boasting a privileged location, 300 metres from the gate of Monemvasia’s castle, Malvasia Traditional Hotel offers stone-built units most with views over the sea. A buffet breakfast is served at the breakfast room and terrace of the main building. We had a lovely time! The staff was very helpful. The room had the most amazing view and ambience.Plus, the breakfast had everything you could have asked for and in great quality. Hope we have the pleasure to visit again and be lucky enough to get the same room !

Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. Combining modern and traditional elements, its accommodation provides Aegean Sea views. Everything was near perfect. The apartment sits inside an old vaulted building, with a quaint terrace. It’s tasteful, spacious, and comfortable. The location is iconic, the breakfast is the best we’ve had in Greece so far; and the staff is a rather discrete but efficient.

Situated within 400 metres of Mavrovouni Beach and 34 km of Caves of Diros, Bello Horizonte features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gythio. Breakfast was delicious and very plentiful. It was more than we could eat. The staff was so helpful — provided lots of recommendations for dinner, the area, and for our exploration of the Mani Peninsula.

The property features garden views and is 46 km from Leonida's Statue and 45 km from Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil in Sparta. The property offers soundproof units and is situated 33 km from Caves of Diros. One of the best places we stayed in. Big room, incredibly clean (cleaned every day) . Big bed, large terrace and a spare one for hanging wet stuff. Enough parking space. Staff always available. They greeted us some breakfast stuff on the table and in the fridge (bread, ham, cheese, butter, honey, tea, coffee, bottled water). Refilled coffee. One small suggestion - could use some shelves, especially in the bathroom.

Very friendly staff, incredible breakfast, perfect location, beautiful rooms, location is amazing and perfectly clean. Couldnt ask for more!

Lying on a private beach, a 30-minute drive away from the village of Monemvasia, Alas Resort & Spa offers 5-star accommodation with views over the Laconic Gulf. It includes a large pool, a wellness centre and a seaside Mediterranean restaurant. The location was beautiful. We felt very welcome They gave us an outstanding breakfast. And the dinner at the restaurant was equivalent to a fine dining experience in NY.

Rooms and apartments at Guesthouse Ritsos are warmly decorated opening out to a patio. They come with air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with shower. Some units also include a kitchenette. THIS was our favorite stay and we stayed in 6 different locations in 11 days. We loved this little island..we explored the entire island..hiking every stairwell, ruin, hidden pathways and the perimeter. There are only a handful of restaraunts but I imagine they are all yummy. We peeked our heads into 4 of them and chose the one that felt right. They were all very welcoming and the food was yummy. We felt the prices for the hotel (UBER CHARMING) and the restaurants were very fair. The hostess' were delightful and the breakfast was delicious!

Situated within 1.5 km of Monemvasia Beach in Monemvasia, Kalnterimi Guesthouses features accommodation with seating area. Featuring sea and city views, this guest house also comes with free WiFi. We were very happy with our apartment which is situated a few meters and a few stairs away from the Monemvasia main gate (please note that you have to carry your suitcases or backpacks because of the cobble stones). The apartment is nicely furnished, offers a great view on the ocean from the windows (+ from the bed :)) and also has amenities like a coffee machine & coffee tabs. The owners have a store downstairs where you can get the keys and buy their local products like olive oil, wine or skin care. We had some problems with noise from the opposite bar one night because they tend to play loud music on Saturdays and the hosts did all they can to make up for it, even though it was not their fault and we really appreciated it. In terms of hospitality, these were one of the nicest hosts we have met so far.
